Lewtress's story
It all started in 1995 with a Kombucha culture and a brilliant friend who enthusiastically believed in good health and life. He took us on the road with our first green tea versions of therapeutic Kombucha drinks and Kombucha Fusions. He traveled around the country introducing our products to Health Food Stores and wholesalers. From West Wales to Brighton, London, and the Cotswolds, Lewtress Kombucha became a big hit.
Rob and Cathay also got wonderful feedback on how good their artisan Kombucha tasted at their successful Naturopathic clinic in rural West Wales. News about the health benefits of their Kombucha products soon spread and a production unit was purpose-built in West Wales, employing Master Artisan Kombucha Brewers. Lewtress long ferment true Kombucha stands far above the mass-produced Kombucha sugary drinks on the market, do not confuse them!
